SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency said it really is alarmed regarding the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due SRD to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider level produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service website point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
